Today Tinsley/Mallard "cautions" us about
President Gore

Today I actually agree with the duck.

Don't panic!! I'm reasonably sure it's *NOT* for the reason that he intended it. You see, today Tinsley says:

Before you get too thrilled over
      Bill Clinton's latest troubles,
I have a couple of words of caution...

      "President Gore."

Hard to believe that a Republican could be smart enough to see that far ahead. Actually, I sometimes wonder if any of the people who are hounding the President realize that, according to the Constitution, if the he cannot fulfill his duties, Vice-President Gore will take over.

Just as happened 20+ years ago, the newly sworn President will lower his right-hand and immediately sign a PARDON. Of course, just before resigning, President Clinton would sign a stack of pardons of his own (Just EXACTLY as Bush did!). And every friend who stuck by the man will walk away without a care in the world.

If these people really wanted to hold Bill Clinton and his administration accountable for some perceived wrongs that they think he has committed, they should wait until he is out of office and not malign the institution of the Presidency.   But of course "justice" has nothing to do with this.   It's vendetta, pure and simple.

Oh yeah, I AGREE with the duck on one other matter. I think it is entirely likely that Al Gore will become President of these United States! But I think he will win the position rather than inherit it.

Dan, why are you picking on this dim-witted duck anyway?
