Another day with the self-described "conservative journalist" Mallard Fillmore sitting on his rear watching TV. Instead of insulting Chinese-Americans, as he did in yesterday's cartoon, today rips into women and he claims that "bimbos love guys with two things: money and power."
It's interesting, wouldn't you agree, that yesterday a major contributor to the Republican party plead guilty to making illegal campaign contributions. This wealthy man from Washington state has funnelled millions of dollars illegally into the national coffers of the GOP. The story did NOT report whether or not the GOP gave the money back, but it did say that Newt Gingrich is STILL scheduled as a guest for one of his summer fundraising parties on his private island estate.
Now gosh, how could anybody make any connections between rich Republicans making millions of dollars in (illegal) donations to candidates and groups trying to damage the President of the United States and the need for that President to raise private money to defend himself against such an attack?
Let me give you a hint Mallard, it's not just "bimbos" who are attracted to guys with power and money (unless you are calling Newt Gingrich a "bimbo").
Er, maybe I missed Mallard's point. Perhaps it wasn't women who were supposed to be insulted by today's cartoon, perhaps IT WAS Newt? Naw, that can't be it. After all, who would be more insulted by such a comparison? Bimbo's or Newt?
