Roofs of temples soared Temples reflected the soaring spirits of their worshipers
   
This water side street was so overgrown with water hyacynith the boat motor choked. Our guide rowed us to open water.
   
Many elegant homes lined the part of the river not choked with water hyacinths
   
Friends from New York grin happily on this water tour - a bonus when ice in Seattle delayed our outbound flight.
