Tiny Birds, Big Picture

I tried to get a picture of a chickadee on the hummingbird feeder yesterday because Mom just couldn't believe they would bother with sugar water if there were other water sources. The little things flitted on and off so quickly that I ended up with lots of pictures of the feeder, but no bird.

So today when Jerry was standing by the kitchen window, he noticed birds stopping at the hummingbird feeder on the back deck. I grabbed the camera and got a shot without zooming in, but it was a nuthatch that flew away, not a chickadee. Once the picture is loaded on Jerry's computer, I'll find out if I have anything besides a blur.

As for the chickadees? They continued to taunt me- this time by drinking from the spigot that is hidden from inside the house.
