Confusion Rains

What to wear to a garden party wedding reception? Casual in Seattle is not the same as casual anywhere else. Dresses are sometimes available in department stores, but the choices are business-wear or prom gowns. And for men, only lawyers and salesmen wear suits.
If the thermometer kisses 60 degrees, then it will probably rain. If the sun shines, it will be cold. That's not a problem for those of us who are used to the climate. We just wear wool socks in our sandals, but relatives from other parts of the country are flummoxed.
Tim and Laurel encouraged guests to wear jeans, but here's news for those not used to this climate. Blue jeans don't keep you warm.
There's is always the option of going inside, but of course no one heats their house anyway. I suppose if enough out of town guests huddle together, there's always body heat.
