Procrastinator's Dream

If the rain clears up it will ruin my day. Right now I'm sitting in my cozy kitchen nibbling on carrots and drinking coffee, but outside lurks unfinished summer projects, gutters full of fir needles, and a faucet that needs a new gasket. As long as it rains, I have an excuse.

Not that any of these chores are a big deal. When I'm done I'll wonder why I let them hang over my head for so long. When the air is less wet I'll chant my mantra of 'Well begun, half done.” And tick down my list.

Oh, look the sky is brightening a little bit. The sun might peak through in an hour or so. But I just remembered- I have some errands to run. And some shopping to do.

Maybe tomorrow....
