Pithy Please

Lately it has become painfully clear that most things that I have to say are either too short for an article and too long for a blog. Some times I think of things that are too short for a blog, but I never remember to put them on Facebook,

In the last week, I have left references in my blogs to several events that were simply too complex to deal with in a few short paragraphs. Like: what about that squirrel in the dryer vent, why is the plumbing in my house embedded in QuikSet, and how come my house has so many holes in it?

I suppose that over the years, many other questions have been left unanswered, and thus have left people with the wrong impression. Let me clear some up right now.

Yes, Mike, I do have moles. But I keep them underground and try not to annoy them. My neighbors have tried every possible home remedy to get rid of their moles, but the result is that annoyed moles just dig more holes, regardless of the weather.

No, Tim, I don't think moss looks as nice as grass, but since Jerry gets annoyed when I turn the lawn black with iron pellets, we have agreed that moss is nice to walk barefoot on. I call it 'naturalizing' but in reality, it's surrender.

Yes, Alice, I do enjoy climbing around on my roof.

I see a pattern here. A lot of my blogs have to do with annoyance, but I am leaving out too many details in an effort to be pithy.
