Teething

This afternoon I'm going to get my new crowns glued in. I'm not sure why the appointment takes an hour and a half, but that's what I'm down for.

I'm also not sure that I'm just getting crowns. Long story which isn't interesting, but I have lost a lot of enamel on my teeth so when I go to the dentist he usually does a little extra than what is planned. I know that sounds odd. It felt pretty odd the first time. Through the Novocaine, I was pretty sure he was working on the wrong tooth. Sure enough, as long as he was in the area, he gave me a bonus filling.

The same thing happened last month. He was doing a crown build up but I was pretty sure I felt something on a different tooth. Yep, he filled in a place where the dentin was showing.

When it comes to crowns, I consider my dentist an artist. Filling in rough spots while he waits for the glue to set must be dentist doodling. It looks pretty nice, too.
