I have long been concerned about Bruce Tinsley's malicious cartoon mallard. After reading today's installment (2/25/1998) I couldn't ignore it any longer.   At first I thought that I should write to the author to complain and enlighten.   But I realized that someone with such deep-seated hatred was beyond my limited psychiatric skills..

Next I contemplated a letter to the editor.   But the Thousand Oaks Star, built almost literally in the shade of the Ronald Reagan library, is also unlikely to take heed of complaints about an un-enlightened fowl (or perhaps I should say, "foul").

Instead, I decided to take my case to you, directly. Here, in this forum, I will attempt to correct some of the lies that Tinsley spreads. Here I will expose some of the double-standards that he would probably prefer you not to think about. Here we will explore the truth behind the creation I call one dirty duck.
